I didn't understand the DRI thing, but I couldn't reproduce it with
xorg-x11-server-1.19.1 :) So I think this is a dup of bug 373131 and bug 373427

It does seem similar bug 374393.
After a recent Mageia 6 cauldron update, I'm no longer experiencing this issue.

It seems that it doesn't happen with wayland. So it might be indeed a problem
with Xorg? But as KDE+Wayland is not usable yet a fix for this might be very
helpful ;) There are many PC affected to this (~50% of PC I admin

After triggering this bug, I tried switching to another virtual console and
then back, as mentioned in https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=19869, and
it does unfreeze the plasmashell.
