The issue has arisen again. The only explanation for the reappearance i can
think of is i had changed location, i was out of station for a week, the usb

Attach please output from "nmcli --pretty -f all device show" once the issue
is reproduced, not when you are successfully connected.

Network Manager does recognize it now, but that's expected since now i am
connected without any problems. But when there were problems, i think network
manager manager had some issues, since the modem was recogni

No, I did not receive any updates, since I did not have an internet connection,
and I can't think of anything which may have caused this change. And I am
pretty sure there is a problem, since the issue persisted

Did you receive any update meanwhile? Maybe after NM was restarted then it
registered that connection and works now as it should.
The log from dmesg is not relevant.

OK, now for no apparent reason i suddenly got a mobile broadband connection,i
don't
know what i did right or what i did differently, is there any way to find out
what changed.
