As a general rule there are not for the very simple rendering that we do.
If some profiling of frames finds a blocker that has some faster replacement,
sure we shouldn't ignore something just because it's 4.x, b

Maybe the bug reporter wants to know that whether kwin can make use of the new
extensions or features available in OpenGL 4.x (maybe because he thinks that
the new features are more efficient?).
