My last insight is that it is related to indi_gphoto_ccd driver. The error only
occurs with the Version 3 of this driver. Version 2.9 was ok. Also, the error
only occurs with my older Canon 1000d attached. A newer Canon 7

I have researched this a little more.
Firstly, I tried to compile the old kstars 3.4.3 and see if the error is still
there. Interestingly enough, the error was still present when using the 3.4.3.
