Thank you for your quick reply. Indeed the checkbox "do not change color from
origin html" wasn't ticked. That fixes the issue.
Shouldn't the checkbox be ticked by default to avoid incorrect display on the
screen?

The bug still exists on Fedora 34, KMail 5.16.2.
Can someone please take a look at this bug?
It is a bad user experience when E-Mails are not displayed correct and
therefore the user can't read them.

Additional information:
The "modern" button is a square with a color and a text inside. The text is a
link ().
This and any other color is ignored by KMail and is always overwritten by
"#2980B9". Is "#2980B9" the default
