no problem, as said for me it is done. It was annoying that it had to be tried

Believe it solved.
I have installed the packages 'libenchant-dev' and 'sonnet-plugins'.
The message 'no backend...' in the system setting has been replaced by many
languages that are to be selected.

It's probably not up to KMail, the message; "No backup for spelling" is found
under "System Settings->Regional Settings->Spell Checker", although I chose

Yes in synaptic are both as well as other Xxspell enabled.
My OS (distro) is Debian 9 (Stable)
