Backtrace from comment #0 crashes in QtWebEngine.
Looking at the backtrace, you were closing KMail.
Could you please check if your steps to reproduce match the attached backtrace?

works fine for me with kdepim master and Qt5.8.0
looks like the crash is in Qt5.9
