The *.nrw extension needs to be added to the x-dcraw virtual MIME type in
shared-mime-info.
I suggest to request this upstream via

I have kdegraphics-thumbnailers (4:19.04.3-0ubuntu1) installed.
If I change the file extension from .nrw to .raw, the thumbnail is displayed
without issues.
