Ubuntu 14.04 is (at least theoretically) supported by Canonical, not KDE. The
ancient KDE software shipped in Ubuntu 14.04 is not supported by KDE. Feel free
to file a launchpad ticket for Ubuntu 14.04 about this, but

Why are you closing this, isn't 14.04 being supported for some time longer.
Anyway, I've being forced to upgrade to 16.04 due to an unrecoverable crash.

downloading.
How do I get the newest version of Dolphin?
