Hmm does upower -d no longer output the device type? :D they are both under
mouse_hidpp_battery so i suggest you file a bug against upower.freedesktop.org

Please provide the output of upower -d
If it reports it as mouse there this is a bug in upower, or a kernel driver, so
please report a bug over there.
