Hi Jim,
Thanks for letting me know. I just tried the latest version of both AppImage
and Flatpak and can confirm that those UI issues have been fixed.

I am now using the latest normal release, 23.04.2, on an updated macos OS,
Ventura 13.4.1, and the problem has gone away. Thanks Apple, or thanks kdenlive
developers :-)
