Ok, I removed kdenlive from the Kubuntu-Backports-PPA and installed the version
from kdenlive-stable-PPA, it crashes as well.
No crashes with the Flatpak version, like with the Appimage.

Thank you for the feedback. Test the PPA from the download page as well. If
doesn't crash either then it's definitely a package issue from the distributor
Kubuntu.
