I did now some tests with 22.04.3 . The profiles "WebM-VP8/Vorbis (libre)" and
"WebM-VP9/Vorbis (libre)" are now working and produce correct *.webm files. The
profile "WebM-AV1/Opus (libre)" I can not test since it

GenToo has both, albeit one as testing. I'll go first for 22.04.3 to avoid
update problems but otherwise your version would be possible to test too.

Managed to resolve this
Kdenlive uses ffmpeg as the encoder so it must be built with the vpx flag in
order to use libvpx
media-video/ffmpeg vpx
made the issue go away
