There are rather thin black lines around the edges of the virtual text-layer
which is shrinking in size. These black lines appear not directly at the text,
but the edge of the layer.

Sorry I can't see what you are speaking about in the video (oettingergames /
Alan Wake?).
For composition, we use transitions rather than filters. Is it what you are
actually doing?
And for better precision we recom
