Problem was qt5ct, not 'assembling our systems from bits and pieces'--GNU/Linux
Mint isn't Linux From Scratch.

Note, when I say only Dolphin custom-icon entries/files/directories/folders
display, I don't mean chosen from KDE's available (I did some but they don't
display) rather than only images/icons that have previews or I
