Having "Component: general, Version: unspecified" isn't a great way to get
anyone's attention.
I know you're not using Arch, but have a look at this thread where someone had
similar symptoms. It might give you some ideas

Correction my monitors don't turn off, only the screen goes black but they
remain on.
