I am running Kubuntu 22.04 and KCalc 21.12.3
I was able to reproduce what Niklas Freund is describing.
KCalc Version: 21.12.3
Operating System: Kubuntu 22.04
KDE Plasma Version: 5.24.6
KDE Frameworks Version: 5

I can't reproduce your copy past, Kcalc display an error
nan
the OS is up to date, no issue with kcalc 21.12.0

With KCalc 17.12.3 on Kubuntu 18.04, it works fine.
With KCalc 20.12.3 on Kubuntu 21.04, it works fine.
