The two overlapping menu's were appearing on (single) right clicking. After
reinstall all is fine now. But I see you're right... I have to right-click IN a
context-menu now to have this effect.
It is fixed now.

The second menu would appear if you right-click into the menu. Hardware button
that has a contact bounce?

I totally did a fresh install of the system and to my surprise this strange
behavior doesn't occur anymore...
