Gilles, I think the cause is that we did not detect that digiKam is running in
the AppImage. I suspect that env variables are empty, they are not created as
an original copy and the test fails.

For me (using the 7..4.0 appimage on pop_os 21.10, a ubuntu 21.10 derivative)
