And you're saying you can't reduce the height further? (As I said, I can, and
it produces scrollbars in that case.)
Could you make sure you're running Plasma 5.5.5 (kinfocenter helps)?

I can resize the height of the window to 460 pixel, it produces scrollbars
within the window, but it's entirely usable (if not a beauty queen).
Could you post a screenshot of your setup?
