Update: I finally figured it out. I had the proprietary intel-media-driver from
rpmfusion-nonfree installed. Uninstalling it instantly fixed the issue. I still
don't know why it conflicts with Haruna specifically.

Update: Perhaps there was a driver update between when I reported this and now,
but Haruna now crashes 100% of the time. I will switch to a different media
player in the meantime, but I really like Haruna and hope
