I have finally found a workaround, if you enable the FPS counter effect the bug
is gone while the effect is active.
Btw if you want to trigger the bug in the first place you have to trigger a GPU

The only workaround I could find so far for this issue is using xorg's intel
driver (instead of kernel's) and enable uxa instead of sna as accelmethod (in
/etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/20-intel.conf):
