Now that you mention it, in my other audio interface the description field is
also a lot better than the nick.

Bug 488875 is also using a recording audio interface with virtual inputs so
same issue. I also opened an issue in alsa-ucm-conf
(https://github.com/alsa-project/alsa-ucm-conf/issues/426) but they say these
names are not
