Do you try foxit reader ? This software change backgroud color perfectly
without a lot of restriction.
Okular change background color function with a lot of restriction makes this
feature almost useless.

Finally I find out a software support linux called foxit which can change
background color successfully.

Take a screenshot of the image is not a good solution.
If I take a screenshot of the image I will get a bad resolution image and
sometimes the image is so big and hard to take a screenshot.

Today I read a pdf document with 18 pages, read it about 20~30min. Then I use a
stopwatch to record the time for closing okular.
The time for closing okular is 3 seconds.

Yes, I think okular is slow to close.
I have other qt app like smplayer, liteide etc, I think them close quicker than
okular.
My cpu is AMD A8 7410, 8 GB memory, Samsung SSD 512G.
