Hi,
Testing this again (Kdenlive 18.04.2, MLT 6.8.0KDE 5.47.0), I don't experience
the issue anymore: putting a clip on the timeline and adding one or many freeze
effects work fine.

I thought libvidstab.so to be working as expected, because I think I am using
it through ffmpeg and it works well.
