My FreeBDS version was 12.1 which had the same sqlite since Jan 2019
FreeBSD-EN-19:03.sqlite. So it was not really a new one. I've since upgraded to
12.2 and it has V20:22.sqlite. The situation have not ch

FreeBSD does have Posix SHM.
Looking at how it has been working just great for a long time and only recently
started slowing down so even if it's done differently how come it worked
flawlessly for years?
