I tried it on Plasma 5.22 beta. Just by turning the monitor off and on again
with the power button, the plasmashell/session will crash. But Kwin kept

Ah, thanks, setting the author before editing is a viable way to go. Changing
it afterwards on a per annotation basis might be tedious, but much better than
