I have managed to upgrade. when I relaunch latte dock the media player
widget/applet appears but slides out of sight on the right side of the screen.
But Latte-Dock keeps hanging after a few minutes and I have to kill

I am almost certain they are installed, I had similar problem when installing
latte-dock for the first time but I am not sure how it was resolved. How can I
