Okay, it looks like Chromium kept picking to run on my Nvidia GPU instead of

This issue does not happen if I unload the nvidia drivers. Chromium vsyncs
properly to 240Hz if they are not loaded.

of explicit sync (linux-drm-syncobj), for which there is an open merge request

It appears the weird behavior of high resolution scrolling in games is a due to
