Can you please write all steps. This is not working. My settings are looking
fine in root mode. I am using Kubuntu 19.04.
With this command I am able to start in root mode, but not under su -:

Hi, I just tried on stable version and same result.
This is one very simple test case:
1. Open Terminal and type: sudo krusader
2. Open another Terminal and type: sudo krusader /home/
You will have 2 running instances

Hi Nikita, thank you for the fix. I was using before this ppa to install it on
my Kubuntu: sudo add-apt-repository ppa:kubuntu-ppa/experimental
But today I don't see Krusader in repository any more, and of course

I switched to shell files, I like Krusader too much to leave it because of this
minor issue. However, I think you shoud keep up with all other file managers.

Double commander is also executing file. Why do we have .desktop files, they
should be shortcuts to execute something right? What is the use case to open
.desktop file in some default text editor like Kate. Who needs

I think that at least behaviour should be the same in both modes (normal,
root). Double commander is also executing files, do not see any problem there.

Ok, so on my laptop Carriage return key is interpreted as Enter, now everything
is clear. Looking forward to the fix in upcoming versions.

After some more testing :), I realized that shell files are executed in the
background I don't see terminal.
Desktop files are not executed, what every I do.
