Not sure what changed, but I can't seem to reproduce this anymore in Plasma
6.2.4. I can now always re-open the notifications pane, even when it is hidden
in the dropdown arrow on the task tray.

The issue is still occuring for me even with the latest updates today. The

A bit of a weird crappy workaround, but if you get into a state where you can't

Recent updates seems to have fixed this issue by making the delete dialog pop
out of the KCM panel. I am not sure whether it was KDE Frameworks 6.6 -> 6.7,
or Plasma 6.2 -> 6.2.1, or even the Qt 6.7 -> 6

I should say that sometimes it doesn't reproduce immediately. Instead it
happens after switching between list view and tree view with a search active
multiple times.

get the notification history to work when I enable that option. When it is off,

@fanzhuyifan There are random moments where it does work. It is most
reproducible though when the bell icon appears in the tray on a brand new

Yes, it seems like drkonqi is the culprit here. If I uninstall it (along with
plasma-meta which depends on it), then log outs work fine every time.
Reinstalling drkonqi immediately causes the issue to come back
