I do not maximize or set fullscreen, the initial geometry of the window is
too large and overlaps under the Plasma panel.
Maybe the geometry of the maximized window was stored from a session

But strangely Brightness Down (F6) still does not repeat.

I noticed the window goes below the shell panel.
When focusing away and in again, the panel is correctly hidden below the

Weston also correctly handle this, by ignoring press on pressed keys

I think not repeating global shortcuts is the correct behaviour.
Still it would make sense for PowerDevil to be notified when the shortcut
is released.
