The Onedrive folder is not a " virtual placeholder folder" -- the file is saved
just like anywhere else; same file system. The OneDrive exe just scans for
changes /

not. Google maps API is free, for (if I remember correctly) 2.500 lookups per

Closed this one, as I now think it had to do with incompatability of old picasa
software // user error (made face tags corrupt).

I have done so (use Debugview) while running DigiKam and tagging a face.
This is the output (Had to look for this in the file, as Digikam is constantly
