Ok so now its happening after the 7th character no matter what I type, but it
doesn't do it every time. Sometimes closing and reopening KDE Connect on my
laptop fixes the issue.

It seems to happen at random, like sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't.
I am not doing anything differently that I can think of.
