I think I found the culprit : the file found in Preferences and named kstarsrc
Deleting this kstarsrc file solved the problem

KStars 355 crashes with the Simulator profile.
After the crash, it is necessary to Force Quit the INDI Server which is still
running.
In macOS, I can do this with the app Activity Monitor
Otherwise the crash still
