Ok thanks for the info. We could not reproduce the issue in Fedora KDE as they

Ok ran `plasma-discover --backends packagekit-backend,flatpak-backend` many
times today.
Finally had an upgrade to run and Discover has been working fine so far.
Cannot produce a crash using the provided command

For more detail. Just in case. This is an AMD system 5600G CPU. 32 GB RAM
AsRock motherboard.
Hardware tests pass.
I also have two nvme ssds. One runs Debian 12 KDE 5.27. No issues there.
The other runs Fedora 40 KDE

downloaded a few new Mesa driver updates. Since then Discover seems to be
working fine.
Does that make sense?

Hello again.
Well I replaced the RAM but Discover still crashes.
Everything else runs fine. Strange. Not sure what to do next.
It’s just Discover. No other errors appear.
Any other suggestions?

Hello
So are you thinking bad RAM? I also run Debian 12 KDE on this same machine.
KDE 5.27 and cannot reproduce the issue. At least not yet. Does that make
sense?

Since the last Fedora KDE update, Discover now seems stable.
Cannot reproduce the issue.
