A note about this : we have recently fixed a bug that could be related from
G'MIC 2.3.2 to 2.3.3 (current is 2.3.4).
This was a multi-threading issue (G'MIC was trying to decompress its standard

It should be fixed with this commit:

G'MIC display on Mac can be only achieved by using the X11 library, which is
not installed by default on Mac.
I'm not that surprised that the plug-in compiled on Mac does not allow filters

Maybe a silly question, but why libcurl is not a required dependency of G'MIC
on Krita ?
It is for the other versions of the plug-in.

In G'MIC, the layers are ordered from the top to the bottom in the image list.
So image [0] is always the top layer, etc.

Interesting. Just curious, does that mean that in Krita, all layers have the
same size ? (it is not the case in GIMP).
If so, this is something I have to take into account, e.g. for filters that

We cannot try it on a Mac M1, we don't have access to such a machine.
But the crash log will be probably helpful to get an idea about the problem.
I'll forward it to Sébastien.
