As you pointed out the issue is with title clips not transitions. I realized
that after writing this post because the backtrace seems to point to a crash
when rendering the font. I changed the bug title.

In the attached backtrace I was adding a cairoaffine blend transition. But it
crashes with other transitions too. Version is 15.12.2.
However I then restarted kdenlive and re-applied the transition, and this time
it worke
