There is a bug in kquickimageeditor 0.5 causing this. There is now a version
0.5.1 which is supposed to fix this, but during my quick testing not fully for
the use-case in Skanpage. I may need to work around

Skanpage does not apply any lossy compression before saving. The intermediate

Could you please run Skanpage 24.05 from command line using "-o

Weird. Your scanner does report a length too small for DIN A4 by 0.1 mm.
But for this we apply a 2 mm margin anyways and I cannot see why DIN A4
shouldn't be listed.
