The tiling editor causes the exact same issue. I'm not sure which maximizing
preview you mean, my setup displays a dark overlay which works fine.

The entry doesn't appear when I disable color accuracy to prevent the bug, so
it seems strongly correlated. Is your display setup the same as mine?
