The new files/deleted files are watched by KDirWatch, not manually done by the
wallpaper plugin. There might be some problems for the random order but for the
aplhabetical order I haven't found a clue.

OK, I still see the behavior after uninstalling p7zip and info-zip [they are
now grayed in the plugin menu], which leaves libzip as our culprit, unless
libarchive or RAR somehow get used as a priority for .zip.

the list is regenerated each time a command touch an archive. Effectively the

UPDATE: With more testing I have determined that what is happening is System
Monitor GPU sensors show the nvidia-smi output from GPU2 in GPU1s sensor
output. It is not showing GPU1 output at all.

I hope it is no such stupid error I did in the past (programming in
FreePascal).
I did a "find first" and then "find next" every few minutes (scanning a
