Check if output from "nmcli device wifi list" is empty when you don't see any
wireless network. If so, then the bug is in NetworkManager or somewhere else,

I still get the same results using the digikam-5.4.0-01-x86-64 appimage.
I never used an appimage before! that was pretty simple, pretty nice and I
like it!
