Looks like networkmanager-qt in Ubuntu was build against older NetworkManager

Yeh, seems so. With fuzzy turned off, my brush behaves exactly the same in both
versions. Fuzzy on, and bad results in 3.0. Turning it on and off again doesn't
fix things like in that task though.

If you select a whole clip, the zone is effectively not shown in the clip
monitor ruler, because the whole clip is selected, so there is no real zone
selection.
