Hi all,
Does anyone have experience with EAI / VRML and JAVA3D? If so, do you think
it's a good technology? Is it gonna be enhanced? Is it the best way to
get/set information from/to a vrml file?
Thanks for your comments,

I have seen little evidence of anyone using VRML in the real world for the last 3-4
years. It is one of those "neat idea, never quite went anywhere" kind of things, as
far as I can tell.
I mean I'm sure it is being used by some people, but by and large it comes across as
cumbersome, hard to use
Hello,
I once created a simulation of streamlines passing over an aerofoil
using VRML and the EAI. That work has long since passed into the realm
of dead links from my undergraduate degree.
I think VRML suffered from a great deal of enthusiasm but a lack of good

take a look at fixing this bug. Off course someone in the community may
have emailed me a fix by the time I get back from JavaOne, hint hint.

Hi Paul
Do you have a target date for delivery of Java3D to Java.net?
I'm sure the answer to that question is "yes".
Are you willing to tell us when that is?
I'm sure the answer to that question is ..."of course, in this new world
of openness, the target date is.."
Sorry, it's just that it is s
