Some folks (includes me) have done it to move the public folder into
their own inbox (with thunderbird e.g.) and couldn't move it back

AFAIK there was a db change involved, or?
Has anyone done this with his server, any problems to expect?

Hi!
I have to move/migrate our old EMail server to a new one. To setup the
new Server wasn't a problem, but to migrate all the data ist the biggest
problem.
Old: RedHat 7.x, cyrus, sasl1 and sendmail.
New: Debian Sarge cyrus21, sasl2, exim 4.31
Now the
TED]>: Fileinto: Mailbox
does not exist
What happens with THIS mail?
Exim4 is happy and done, because it delivered the mail to cyrus, no
error in logfile.
And there is NO mailbox in which sieve could drop the mail.
Is the mail being deleted to nirvana?

Doesn't the stop rule stop the execution of the script for this email?
How can I change the script for a email to be sort in only one folder?

Hi!
Until today I used massievec to create all sievescripts on my old cyrus
debian install.
But today I got this error:
can't open /etc/imapd.co at /usr/lib/cyrus/upgrade/masssievec line 80
Anyonehave a idea about it?
cyrus: 2.2.13-10

different client, the email is still perfect in mailbox
and not deleted, neither marked for deletion.
We did not have had any idea why this happens.
Also we do message filtering with sieve and Outlook does not show new
messages in folders.
Has anyone tips about this? Thank you.

What is the preferred, easy to use method nowadays, any docs available?
Or how do I use sasl to save passwords encrypted with hash on local

Thank you.

Seems like some change of dataformat, as I did upgrade in sept 2011 :-)
