Did you subscribe the newly created folders??

Sounds good!
Thanks for the quick reply.
I am fairly experienced, done lots of sendmail installations to a manual

manage - probably with some help from this list

Hello list,
I have a Debian sid test machine running postfix

This used to work just fine, now this is what I get in

Thank you all people!
The problem was that /etc/default/saslauthd was reset to default values
after a apt-get update.
Once I noticed that saslauthd was not running it didn't take much to
find & fix it.

Does anybody have a pointer for me?
Another thing, is there a tool that imports these dump files
back into cyrus, creating missing mailboxes etc.?

As you found out yourself, the solution is to delete the tls db,
(/var/lib/cyrus/tls_sessions.db in my case) and restart cyrus.

Hello list,
Is there a way to rename INBOX to something else in my native language
(Hebrew in my case)?
I have a customer that insists of having all Hebrew folder names.
My concern is that incoming messages will have no INBOX to deliver the
mail into.
Any pointers?

Hello list,
Is there a way to delete all messages in a specific (or all?) IMAP
folders older then a specified number of days?
I have a customer that holds ~50-500K msgs per folder An scheduled
cleanup sounds like a good idea here ;-)
Running Cyrus v2.1.7 on Debian Sarge.

Hello list,
I have a Debian Sarge machine running cyrus v2.1.7, Postfix v2.1.5, SA
and gld.
The system is up and running for 6 months without any problems.
I was now asked to create several public folders on this system, usable
by all users.
Is there a good how-to on how to get this done?
TIA
It does help, it was all I needed.
Thanks.
D.

Hi,
I have a weekly cron job that runs squatter on all cyrus' mailboxes (about 50GB
all together).
Works wonders for searches.

The best method is to let
Outlook do the work…
Create an outlook account
that uses this pst, create an outlook IMAP account and just drag the
folders/messages into the IMAP folders.
Worked for me several
times.

Is there a sieve GUI out there that supports REDIRECT and/or direct
store to another user's mailbox (assuming all ACL requirements are met)?
If not, is there a sample sieve script I could use as a skeleton?
TIA

Try running by user cyrus, like: su - cyrus -c "/usr/sbin/ipurge -f -d
30 user.username"
Works for me, also Debian etch.

Excuse the typo... should of course be:
