I have a strange problem, with cyrus.
If system receive a message for a non existing user, cyrus creating this
user and folders inbox,send etc.
I use sendmail-8.14.2-1.fc8 and cyrus-imapd-2.3.9-7.fc8.
My imapd.conf is:
configdirectory: /var/lib/imap
partition-default: /var/spool/ima

No, its connecting to port 143 with TLS checked. I've provided my
cyrus.conf in another message, where you can see I'm running imapd
without the -s switc

This seems to be the cause of the problem. If I remove this setting,
everything works as expected. Note that this didn't interfere on 2.3.7.

I have not been able to authenticate POP3 over SSL from thunderbird
2.0.0.12 to Cyrus POP3 v2.3.8 on a OS X Server 10.5.
I have narrowed down the cause to be a wrong set of supported
authentication mechanism being advertised when thunderbird queried the
POP3 server in AUTH.
