Hello again
I am using the latest stable version of Cyrus IMAPd
and have some e-mail addresses containing a dot in
their address (for example:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]). So for that I have
activated unixhierarchysep to "on" but since then I
always get the error message from LMTP (verify_user)

Hi,
I'm using Cyrus IMAP4 v2.2.12.
I'd like to allow plaintext passwords only for connections to localhost,
and to deny them otherwise. Is this possible? If yes, how?
Maybe I could use multiple imap services in cyrus.conf, each listening on
a different address, and each using a different config

Hi,

It means that no sieve script is found for the account; more exactly no

Hi Jukka,
I don't think there is any configuration options for this; However:
A simple workaround is to specify two services, bind them to the
different interfaces.

Hi,
why is it needed to shut down a process after it has handled a certain
amount of connections? I'm talking about the -U option to imapd, pop3d,
lmtpd, nntpd, etc.
TIA, Jukka

Hello Again
After restarting the master process, I now get a few
error messages in my cyrus logfile at each checkpoint:
DBERROR: error listing log files: Permission denied
DBERROR: archive /var/cyrus/db: cyrusdb error
Was does this mean ? And where on which file/directory

Ok technically speaking SSL/TLS is not part of SASL. But the two are
related. Maybe I'm biased by the fact that most of the connections I see

Sure, or, say, kerberos keys.
For what SASL is using it

After I removed the ACL and since then, Other Users view continues to
show up in my IMAP view (currently using Thunderbird).
I'm curious why this happens... and if it's a bug. I'm
