hi
all seems to install ok, but when i run cyradm loclahost it asks me to
tnter a pasword, then an 'IMAP password'
from using cyradm on earlier (1.5 series), i assume the first password
is for the 'cyrus' user, wich is fine, but what's the second one? if i
reenter the cyrus password i don't get
Setup:
NetBSD 1.5V,
imap 2.0.14-NAMESPACE-r2 (with Berkeley DB 3.2.9),
sasl 1.5.24 (--with-db=none, don't use sasldb et al)
Anyone know what these DB error messages are about? Haven't noticed any
problems on the client end (yet), but the server in question is only in
testing so it doesn't get us

Just writing to say that I have the exact same problem on RedHat 7.1

I just installed Cyrus (2.0.14) on a brand new Redhat 7.1 installation
and everything went great until I tried to run cyradm for the first
time. It returned the following error.
# cyradm
Can't locate Cyrus/IMAP/Shell.pm in @INC (@INC contains:
/usr/lib/perl5/5.6.0/i386-linux
/usr/lib/perl5/5.6.

I've attached it to this message.
Just extract cyrus-imapd-2.0.14, cd to the directory, and run:
"patch < /path/to/cyrus-imapd-2.0.14-DOTPATCH.diff"
This is a later version of the original patch I released, it fixes a problem
setting/parsing quota files.

Curtis,
The following instructions fixed it for me. Maybe you can try it again.

make install
This will install cyradm into your perl directory structure. (if
perl=/usr/bin/perl then cyrus=/usr/bin/cyradm)

Well, I know Tcl isn't as popular, but we sure didn't see these
kinds of errors before. :-P
I know, what about a Ruby extension? Combined with readline
support, that would make a pretty darn convenient interactive
utility. :-P

Hey guys,
So, I've recently installed a new debian system. I got to apt-get
cyrus imapd, and to my horror see that it hasn't been updated
since 1.5.19. I realize the maintainer was waiting for other
libraries, but I can't afford to wait :-/ So, I'm trying to build
my own pr
