If i use 'cyradm -u cyrus -auth plain localhost' i have no problems.
If i try 'cyradm -u cyrus localhost' i get a core dump!
Why ?
In the first safe case always cyradm prompts twice for password:
'Please enter you password:' and 'IMAP password:'.

Hi we are using cyrus imapd 2.0.6 (with openldap and pam_ldap for auth).
We would to have "." and "/" and maybe "@" in our login like
toto.titi/toto.com.
It seems that cyrus reject this kind of logins, a quick look in the
source ,we can see that the dot is explicitly rejected.

I've worked on this a long time ago, but not against the current code.
